Sinopsis

Luffy, un adolescente despreocupado que apenas sobrevive metido en un barril tras atravesar un terrible remolino, termina a bordo de un barco bajo ataque de piratas peligrosos. A pesar de su apariencia ingenua, no hay que subestimarlo. Invencible en combate, Luffy es él mismo un pirata que persigue sin titubear el ansiado tesoro One Piece y el título de Rey de los Piratas que lo acompaña. El difunto Rey de los Piratas, Gol D. Roger, revolucionó el mundo antes de morir al revelar el paradero de su fortuna y retando a todos a obtenerla. Desde entonces, incontables piratas poderosos han navegado mares peligrosos buscando el One Piece, pero ninguno regresó. Aunque Luffy no tiene tripulación ni un barco decente, posee una habilidad sobrehumana y un espíritu inquebrantable que lo hacen no solo un adversario formidable, sino también una inspiración para muchos.
